Details:
We have well established and modern infrastructure which assist us to manufacture and supply of Bauxite.
Bauxite is a mixture of the minerals gibbsite (Al2O3 - 3H2O) boehmite (alpha monohydrate, Al2O3 H2O) and Diaspora (beta monohydrate, Al2O3 H2O). It is a unique mineral in the sense that, by and large, this is the only mineral from which aluminum is extracted economically. Beside aluminum its other important uses are in the manufacture of refractories, abrasive and chemicals. Low-grade bauxite finds use in cement industry. Among minor uses mention may be made of its use as a fluxing material in steel melting shop and in ferro-alloy industries in place of fluorspar and as absorbent in the refining of kerosene.
The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has prescribed the following specification of bauxite for metallurgical uses.
| Production of aluminum (IS: 5953 - 1971) by Bayer Process: |
| S.No. | | Grade - I | Grade - II | Grade - III |
| i | A12O3 min. | 52 | 48 | 44 |
| ii | SiO2 max. | 3.5 | 5 | 5 |
| iii | P2O5 max. | 0.20 | 0.20 | 0.20 |
| iv | V2O5 max. | 0.20 | 0.20 | 0.20 |
| v | Fe2O3 + TiO2 max. | 30 | 30 | 30 |
| vi | L O I at 1100oC min. | 20 | 20 | 20 |
Note: For extraction of A12O3 by lime sinter process or by a combination of Bayer's' and lime-sinter process, low-grade ore containing up to 15% SiO2 can be used. Optimal Composition for Metallurgical and Industrial DemandOur non-calcined bauxite complies with stringent chemical parameters, delivering a high Al2O3 content and maintained SiO2 and Fe2O3 levels. This makes it suitable for diverse applications, such as steel production, refractory manufacturing, and other industrial processes where purity and consistency are paramount.
Flexible Packaging and Sizing SolutionsDepending on customer needs, we offer bulk or jumbo bag packaging options, with lump sizes ranging from 0 to 100 mm and customized dimensions. This flexibility ensures that our clients receive bauxite tailored to their unique handling, storage, and processing requirements.
FAQs of Non Calcined Bauxite Exporter:
Q: How is your non-calcined bauxite typically used in the metallurgical and industrial sectors?
A: Our non-calcined bauxite is primarily utilized as a raw material in the production of alumina, steel, and refractory bricks. It serves as a key input in industries requiring materials with high alumina content and low contaminant levels, such as in electrolytic aluminum plants and various metallurgical processes.
Q: What are the packaging and sizing options for your bauxite shipments?
A: We supply non-calcined bauxite either in bulk form or packed in jumbo bags, accommodating shipments between 50 and 1000 kg. The lumps are sized between 0100 mm, with the possibility to customize dimensions to align with specific customer requirements or logistical needs.
Q: When can I expect delivery once an order is placed, and what is your monthly supply capacity?
A: With a robust supply capacity of 2000 MT per month, we strive to process and ship orders efficiently. Expected delivery timelines are coordinated upon order confirmation, depending on destination and shipping arrangements, but large-scale orders are managed without compromise to quality or timelines.
Q: How do you ensure the high purity and consistent quality of the bauxite supplied?
A: We adhere to strict quality control measures, regularly analyzing our bauxite to confirm it meets the specified chemical parameters: minimum 48% Al2O3, maximum 14% Fe2O3, and SiO2 not exceeding 4%. Each batch is tested to ensure consistent purity, low moisture, and minimal sulphur and phosphorus content.
Q: What benefits does your bauxite offer over other sources?
A: Our bauxite stands out due to its high alumina content, controlled impurity levels, and reliability of supply. These attributes support efficient industrial processes, minimize downtime, and reduce unwanted by-product formation, improving overall manufacturing outcomes for our customers.
Q: Where is your bauxite sourced and which markets do you serve?
A: Our bauxite originates from select mines in India, known for producing high-grade mineral ore. We serve domestic clients as well as international markets, supporting a wide range of metallurgical and industrial needs worldwide.
